Third Grade Team

At Palmer Way, we don’t just have 3 classes of 3rd graders; we have 66 third-graders to take care of together. I love the 3rd grade teachers because they all offer different strengths for our kids.

Mr. Crosbie has moved into my old room, B8. He really brings a breath of fresh ideas on teaching the 3rd grade students. Although this is his first year teaching at this grade level at Palmer Way, he has years of experience teaching 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade from El Toyon and Palmer Way. With his foresight of where the students are heading in the future, he expects such greatness and helps them to achieve it. Good luck this year Mr. Crosbie. Take care of my kiddos!

Mrs. Lachi can be found in room B3. She is an easy going teacher who loves to deepen kids’ knowledge of health, safety, and preparedness as well as the core curriculum. The students learn more about fairness to all in her ever-changing room. She changes and reposts the students’ work on the walls so frequently, that there are never fade marks to be seen.

Mr. Payumo teaches in room B4, right next door to Mrs. Lachi. He begins his 3rd year of teaching 3rd grade and has many years of teaching experience from 1st grade. He knows where the students are coming from and can use that knowledge to build upon. He is the solid rock that we depend on in our team.
